Hot Yoga Delux is rated 4.9 out of 5 stars, based on 25 reviews!
This is an excellent location for all but especially a first time, 65+ yoga student. Benefits have been improved flexibility, mental focus, and breathing with the added benefit of reduced “saddlebags.”
One of the best studios I've seen and I've been to a few in NY & NJ. Clean with great changing areas and restroom! Certified instructors who guides one to their fullest potential in practice. Bikram helps build stamina, strength and immune system in my opinion. I personally love the heat but hydration is key and electrolyte replacement a must!
Fantastic experience. The instructor was very easy to follow. This was my first time with this type of yoga. She made it an easy transition. The people were very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to get back there!
Bikram Hot Yoga is wonderful and this studio does it the right way. Dell is the owner and she is an amazing teacher! If you want to learn a form of exercise that will help keep you healthy physically and mentally, BIKRAM YOGA is it. Students need to come to class prepared just like high school. Eat the right foods, drink enough fluids and come ready to learn. Bikram is strict BUT it will have a huge carryover to your life outside the studio. Get ready to be AMAZED!!
It is now almost November, and I started the Bikram Hot Yoga classes in January, and I also go to the Hot Pilates classes once or twice a week along with my running plan. My knees used to hurt if I stood for a long time, sat for a long time (at the movies, on car trips, on air planes, etc), and I had horrible pain if I walked/ran for longer than 30 minutes. I took aleve, I went to physical therapy, I would ice them, KT Tape my knees, knee braces, compression knee sleeves...you name it, I tried it. Thanks to Dell & her staff, I can now say that I cannot remember the last time I had knee pain. Seriously, if you are a runner, especially a long distance runner, this is the place for you. The heat along the stretches are PERFECT for aches, pains, and more importantly, to prevent it! The hot yoga along with the hot pilates classes are the perfect cross training for runners. :) Last weekend, I finished my 19th half marathon, and I didn't even think I could be running a longer distance like that after my knee injuries this past January. THANK YOU BIKRAM HOT YOGA HUNTSVILLE!
Great instructor's, great music, clean facility, and friendly and personable staff. Great way to gain flexibility, relieve lower back pain, reduce stress and fellowship with nice people.
I have been doing bikram for almost four years and pilates less than a year. It is an amazing experience, great workout without hurting your joints and outstanding camaraderie.. Love it so much that when I don't go Ifeel guilty....I miss it...and I have never felt like that with any program. Thank you Dell & staff for keeping us in shape and wanting the best for us!!!
It's about time I got on here to express how thankful I am to Dell and her amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable staff at Bikram Hot Yoga & Pilates. I have been going for almost half a year now and I LOVE the way my mind, body, and soul feel. I mainly go for Pilates and have so much fun in class with the instructors and fellow students. It is the most encouraging and accepting environment I have ever experienced in a "gym/workout environment". I get excited just driving to class knowing I'm going to see all these bubbly people that want to experience the same things I want in a class. We have fun, laugh, and enjoy sweating our butts off in the 105 degree humid hot heat! You get the results you are looking for and have a blast doing it. The Yoga classes are great also if you are looking for relaxation and good stretching techniques. Bikram yoga teaches you effective breathing and combined with the Pilates, strength. I encourage anyone that is interested to try out Bikram Hot Yoga & Pilates. They have a great 1-month trial package that will get you hooked.
This is an amazing experience. The heat helps my muscles relax and the sweating detoxifies and gives me a great work out without too much stress on my joints. After years of jogging/running my knees no longer hurt. I've lost not only pounds but more importantly inches off my waist and abdomen. Can't imagine not being in the hot room at least 4/5 times per week! Love Dell and the staff, they are keep me motivated and coming back for more. A clean & aesthetically pleasing environment.
The 6am Pilates Class with Angela is AWESOME! Great instructor, motivating and full of energy. She made my day! Thanks for the great classes!
If you're looking to create or meet your fitness goals, Dell and her team at Bikram will keep you motivated on your journey. With the Pilates and the traditional Bikram yoga, you'll get the muscle-building and flexibility improvement you want. Bikram keeps it hot and structured, but in a fun atmosphere with very nice facilities.
Bikram Hot Yoga of Huntsville/Madison is one of the best places to practice yoga. I have been practicing Bikram for about 15 years under a few dozen different teachers and a dozen different studios. And Dell (the owner) of Huntsville is the best instructor I've ever worked with. Her ability to be motivating and challenging while still being positive and supportive is amazing. Also, the studio is outstanding (very open, clean, and inviting). The health benefits of Bikram Hot Yoga are beyond words. Bikram yoga is perfect whether you are an athlete like myself, just getting started with exercise, or looking to lose a few pounds. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
In Huntsville on business travel, I found Bikram Yoga Huntsville via Google maps. Having dropped into many studios across the U.S. & overseas, this was by far the nicest, cleanest, friendliest studio I've been too. In fact, this is my first ever Yelp review. The experience was so positive, I created an account to review it.
The friendliness of the staff & the professionalism of the instruction were a magnetic combination that convinced me that I will go back for class every time I return to the area. This studio offers a great way to shake off the effects of air travel, and it is so clean. Let's face it, maintaining hygiene is a challenge for any studio designed to make students sweat stress away. Bikram Yoga Huntsville somehow overcame the challenge, leaving it spotless & odor free.
Once again, the instructors are super friendly & would make Bikram Choudhary proud!
This is my first time doing any kind of yoga class (Yeah, I jumped in head first with the hot yoga). I don't have anything to compare this to, but it was a really good experience. The instructor was really good, but tough. I personally liked her pushing us through because the heat was starting to get me towards the end. Everything is clean and really nice.
If you're going to do this I definitely recommend hydrating starting the day before and don't eat a big meal before you do this. I bought the $50 intro for one month and I'll be back at least once week time permitting.
I am on a 30 day special offer trial and I have really enjoyed the 60 minute Hot Pilates, I originally joined because I wanted to do the Yoga to help with my flexibility, but I just could not handle the 90 minutes and only 1 water break, I left the class after about an hour, and felt bad because I hated to interrupt the class with my exit. Wish they had a 60 minutes Yoga class around the 4:30 hour. But I do love the Hot Pilates and everyone is so extremely nice and helpful.
I just finished my first month at Bikram Hot Yoga, and I am really enjoying the practices! Be warned: if you aren't an avid water drinker like I am, those rooms are HOT, hence the name HOT yoga. Drink plenty of water daily so you won't feel dizzy or sick. The instructors are great, especially Dell, because I love how she takes the time to tell you where you can improve along with what you are doing wrong (I am brand new to yoga; I want to be told what I am doing wrong so I don't end up hurting myself). The bathrooms and changing rooms are clean, and the atmosphere overall is great. The only thing that I would like to see different is offering a later hot pilates class because of my work schedule because I can't make any of the times that they have right now, but hopefully once summer rolls around I will be able to attend those classes too! :)

I had never done any kind of yoga in the past, but after reading about so many benefits from "hot" yoga, I proceeded to attempt a 30 day challenge. Yes at first , it WAS a Major challenge for me. I have fibromyalgia and sciatic nerve pain. I was very stiff to begin with and quite uncoordinated. During my 30 day challenge, Dell and Laykin were the two teachers who were over the class. I love these women! Had it not been for their encouragement and willingness to see me through...I might have given up, but I hung in there. Dell would sometimes come off her platform and show me what I was doing wrong. I liked that and actually WANTED her to let me know, How else do we expect to get all the benefits of certain positions if we're not doing them properly?. There is a big cooler in the lobby that contains all kinds of good and refreshing drinks to re-hydrate you and down the hall, there are two nice size Clean bathroom areas. What more can you ask for... Well besides noticing the inches start to melt away, your body becoming more flexible, the toxins leaving your body, leaving you with smooth skin and a healthier glow Etc... Thank you Bikram for coming up with a yoga with so many health benefits and thank you to the ladies that care about showing people how it's done right!
Amazing studio! Amazing instructors! Bikram yoga works every muscle of your body and it makes you feel amazing! your skin glows, your posture improves, you feel less stress......amazing! Love love love!!!!!
Took my 12th Hot Yoga class this morning at 6 am! I love "the room" and can't wait until my next class. I have to admit the first class or two wasn't easy, but now I look forward to my 90 mins. of 26 yoga poses. I understand the benefits of Hot Yoga. . .increased flexibility, improved balance/posture and my skin is actually glowing. I took my first class on Tues., Jan. 20th. 2015 and I can already feel my body changing. I am grateful for a beautiful studio/facility to practice Bikram Hot Yoga. I am thankful for knowledgeable, supportive instructors who stress the importance of learning how to do the poses correctly. Thank you to Dell and Lakyn for making this experience life changing for me!
I love this bikram studio. The heat is good, the place is spotless and spacious and the owner Dell is lovely, friendly and an excellent teacher. Great place to do hot yoga and everyone is so nice!
Awesome Bikram Studio! I have completed 30 days at the studio and will reup with the monthly membership. Bikram is not for the faint of heart, you must be focused, properly hydrated and ready for the challenge of staying in a room heated to 105 degrees at 40% humidity. Dell and Lakyn are great instructors with excellent dialogues. Please read the suggested pre class information before waltzing into the studio. Respect the instruction you are being given, arrive on time, do not talk during class (that is a no no in any yoga studio), hydrate before class and approach with an open mind. The benefits are amazing and you won't regret the day you start. It's addictive!
Love Bikram Yoga in Madison, AL. Love the instructors. Yes, they are strict, just like a mom who really cares and wants you to progress well. If i didnt have a job, i would go more. 3 days a week is good, if i can make it. I walk in thinking, 1,000 calories about to be gone. Be patient, and finish. Pretend you are enjoying a good movie. Movies cause no calorie loss but take the same amount of time. Diana Graf
Visiting Huntsville on business, I was delighted to learn there was a Bikram studio where I could continue my practice. If you're already a Bikram yogi, I can assure you that this is one of the nicest studios you will ever find. The studio is gorgeous, immaculate, and the staff and yogis were all so friendly! The instruction was first-class, and the energy of the place is just great.
If you're new to Bikram, welcome! I have found this practice to be life-changing. At 46 years old, I'm healthier and more fit now than I've ever been before. It challenges me physically, mentally, and spiritually. This is a workout for the entire human being, not just for your muscles or lungs like other workouts. You will learn so much about yourself in that hot room!
The nicest Yoga studio that I have ever been in. Large changing rooms to change and shower, instead of a toilet like everywhere else. Fantastic instructors. Love Bikram Yoga.
